After applying to Stay Frosty I had to move all my belongings from vlilirier to Hevrice.
Modules and other small stuff isn’t really that big of a problem.
Rigged ships is another thing. Frigates tend to take 2500m3 of cargo space per ship wich makes moving them a real pain.
I tought about using the fine gentlemen from Blackfrog Logistics but I quickly realised that Blackfrog is not an option, because they show up as containers and blackfrog hates containers.
The only solution (with my skills) then was to get in a gallente industrial fully fitted with cargo expanders and move them all in a highsec system next door to Hevrice. that way I could move all my ships in one by one to lowsec since it was only one jump.
Iteron mark III
This made me think about the fact that I am become a pirate thus that within a short period of time CONCORD will not allow me into high sec anymore.
That will make moving new ships and modules into low-sec a much bigger problem.
And taking into account the cost for using Blackfrog logistics everytime I would need a few modules. That would cost me a ton of isk.
So in the next couple of days I’m bound to think about a few ways to get stuff from highsec into lowsec in a cost efficient way. without the need to get my pirate character, ship and cargo into danger.
I am really looking forward to fly as a flashy red character in lowsec and surrounding nullsecs. Trying to explode ships and get a ransom on someone’s pod.
It’s bound to be a new world that’s going to open. expecially knowing that anyone can engage you at anytime without receiving any backup from gateguns, stationguns or CONCORD.
There’s about to be more stories to be told. Until then, Fly Reckless!!!
About a month ago I decided to go to my first ever Eve Online Fanfest.
The idea was to have loads of fun, talk to many interesting people, and see what my future in Eve might be.
Fanfest completely blew me away in terms of fun, engaging and finding new opportunities.
After returning from Reykjavik, I decided to dip my feet in faction warefare.
I had an approved apply to Moira. Already in my list so joining was pretty easy.
The pilots in Moira. are really nice persons and are eager to help anyone out ’till their best of capabilities.
I learned a great new deal about faction warfare.
I did a whole lot of plexing and the occasional alliance fleet.
It netted me around 10 kills and no losses in about a week. So all went well.
In total I managed to lose my ship once and get on 13 killmails and score around 100k LP that I converted in fed navy comet bpc’s in the 18 days I was in Moira.
Yeah, I was only 18 days in Moira.
Why, you ask? I tought anything went so well?
So all of a sudden Rixx Javix from EVOGANDA decided to make an new corp called stay frosty after being booted from The Tuskers.
A corp that actually was made for a pilot like me.
Do whatever you want, no bullsh*t solo/small gang piracy.
I just had to try it.
I managed to get accepted and started moving all my stuff towards Hevrice.
I’m hoping this will be a good idea, and that everything will be as awesome in 18 days as it was in Moira.
I really want to thank Julianus Soter over at Moira. For having me in his corp and keeping up with me for 18 days.
We parted ways in good terms and i’m gratefull for that.
So I’ll blog later about all the shenanigans that take place over at stay frosty.
So it happend. My breacher went down in a sea of fire.
But not before I managed to make a few kills with it.
As promised here I would provide you with more details.
I undocked my breacher from the fed navy station in stacmon and promptly recieved a duel invite from a guy named Lars Carlson.
He was flying a Cormorant. That ship is ranked in the destroyer class.
I immediatly accepted the duel and started a steady orbit at around 20km.
I knew from experience that the cormorant usually has hybrid turrets as weapon group, So I needed to make sure I kept my range.
The fight went on for about 2 minutes resulting in a flawless victory on my behalf.
I managed to keep my range and the cormorant pilot was not able to land a single hit on my frigate hull.
It seemed he disengaged briefly at the end hoping I might do the same.
But I always honour my duels!
I undocked 10 minutes later and it seemed he wanted a 2nd round.
He was in a kestrel this time.
I decided to go for it again, this time he was able to deliver some damage to me.
The fight lasted for about 30 seconds as he exploded for a second time.
After that I decided to go out roaming in the Ostingele region.
I found a Crow interceptor in a small Gallente site in the system and decided to go for it.
A bold moving knowing that an interceptor is faster then me.
But I was hoping I could take him down while my ASB would keep me alive.
I managed to take him to 1/4th of his shields before I went down in a sea of fire.
I still need more experience with certain modules so I can react more instinctively in certain situations.
But that will come eventually.
I’m happy to be back in space and looking forward to more goodfights.
