So it’s been 18 days since I joined Stay Frosty.
And a lot has happens since then:
The member count went up from 30 to 67 as of this writing.
The good thing is that these are all active players from different timezones.
This means that at all time there are usually around 8-10 active people online.
Alot of these new players that joined are also bloggers.
Stay Frosty has a few very good bloggers, inlcuding Rixx Javixx offcourse, Marc Scaurus, Roc Weiler and Lucas Padecain.
Rixx Javix at EVEOGANDA made a page were all stay frosty blogs are grouped, go check it out.

The corp has allready being active alot since it’s beginning only a month ago.
The killboard as of this writing gives us 600 kills vs 500 losses with an efficiency of approx 50%.
Not bad for a newbie corp that is located in a very busy and active lowsec pocket dominated by some of the best rated pvp corps in New Eden.

After spending 18 days in corp chat, doing the occasional fleet roam together with corpmates I can say that there are truly nice people in Stay Frosty.
The chat is family friendly as it should be, and everybody is helping others out getting settled in, moving stuff in, helping with shipfittings etc.
The fact that everyone in corp has acces to all corp aspects is another great thing.
There is no rivalry between different members, because everybody is the same on any level. this makes that a 3 month old first time pvp’er to a 4 year old pvp vet are bassicly treated the same way and accepted in the same way.
I think Stay Frosty has alot of potential to become a very decent pvp corp that can live by it’s reputation of being honourable pilots.
I’m looking forward to the first anniversary of this corp. just to see where we will be 11 months from now.
So I finally had some time to go out and roam around my new area for a bit.
I was making some bookmarks in and around Hevrice for my personal use when I spotted an Atron in a small FW site.
Being in an atron myself I decided to go for it.
I landed on grid got a point and web on the atron and pounded him to spacedust.
For an early 2012 character this Atron had a pretty strange fit in my opinion.
The day after we had a little frigate fleet up and decided to roam from Hevrice towards Martoh.
Only 2 jumps out and we ran into a Dragoon.
He was sitting in a medium FW plex in Costolle.
Our scout in a condor went in and got a point and web on the destroyer.
Just as we landed on grid our scout exploded. I got an immediate scram and web on him.
But after only 5 seconds I got completely neuted and pounded into hull.
I got out with only 12% structure left. Luckely because apparently he didn’t have a disrupter or scram fitted.
The Dragoon died seconds later to the rest of the fleet.
Gf’s were shared in local.
I derped on this one because I came straight at him with low transversal and kept my MWD on when I was closer than 5km.
It bloomed my signature radius and I received full damage on me. Together with the 3 neuts that was a deadly combination.
But all ended well.
Soon after that we found a Omen sitting a bit off a FW acceleration gate.
I learned my lesson this time. I spiraled towards him then got scram and web on him.
The Omen instapopped another condor of ours but melted soon after that.
I was flying the Atron and must say that I really enjoyed doing so.
It’s a great little ship with good dps and a decent tank.
More kills soon to come with this one.
Atron in space.
Saturday evening I went towards Orvolle to get a griffin that was parked there.
I wanted it moved to Hevrice.
Being in Empire I decided to stay for a bit longer to enjoy the fruits of life that are so commonly known in Gallente high sec stations.
And then all of a sudden it happened.
Everything went black.
There was widespread panic on all levels on the station as all vital system went offline.
I was stuck in my captains quarter with nothing but 2 beers and what was going to be a lack of oxygen soon.
I decided to crack one of the beers and head to bed to keep the oxygen usage as low as possible.
After a few hours I got woken up by a loud drumming noise coming from outside my door.
Somebody was trying to crack it open. I was cautious but decided to help out a bit because after all I was stuck in this room.
Once the door went open there were some stations guards providing everyone with oxygen bottles to keep the levels sufficient in what was already a 5 hour blackout.
I closed the door back up and decided to let the bottle slowly run out in the sealed of room.
That way I could stay asleep and be certain of airsupply until I woke up.
I woke up 15 hours later to the sound of the airvents reopening and noticed the power was back on.
The Scope was putting out a news item explaining that the whole of New Eden went black
by a massive disruption caused by a flare in the Eve Gate.
There were stories about new anomolies appearing in certain solar systems
New pirate groups appearing in the verges of low-sec. And all Ice belts being vaporised by the radiation coming from the Eve Gate.
Altough some Ice could still be found by scanning systems thoroughly.
The scope reported that all factions were building a navy approved battlecruiser just to be sure to keep the upperhand in what would probably could be a massive uprising of certain pirate factions.
There is bound to be an interesting time ahead of us with alot of things yet to discover.
