After alot of theorycrafting and practice for the NEOII the need for some peace of mind was big.
It’s been in my mind for a while now to get me a decent and versatile ship with a crew and fly the universe in solitude.
The goal is to be unbound to anything or anyone. Go wherever the stars take me.
Doing some exploration. Making a decent amount of ISK. Occasionally kill a unwarry capsuleer.
Finding the right ship for the job was easier then expected.
For this line of work there is only one class that is very suitable. The strategic cruisers.
I went for a tengu since it is the most versatile and tough then any other strategic cruiser.
The new structures that got invented will make the line of work I’m into much easier then before.
After getting all my skills up to a decent level and get my ship fitted up it was time to take it out for a spin.
I probed a wormhole and found 3 ships mining. I decided to take on the more expensive mackinaw.
I got it down before back-up arrived.
It netted me around 10mil isk in loot. Not bad for a first spin.
We’ll see how long it’ll take for me to pick up playing with others again.
In the mean time, try not to get killed by a cloaky tengu.
Every year in Reykjavik there is a big meetup for all EVE players around the world.
It’s a place were capsuleers swap tales of bravery, comradery, and victorious moments in their digital universe.
If you decide to ever go there. Be prepared to have a very good time.
I went there last year with the misses and we immediatly decided to go back this year.
So our plane tickets, fanfest tickets and rooms are booked.
There is one guy in particular that we met there that we spent alot of time with.
He had his girlfriend with him aswell.
My girlfriend and his girlfriend came along just fine.
So he was my guy to swap those stories with.
Gues what happend not long ago.
Yup, I shot him in the face.
How good does it feel to shoot a guy you know in the face and don’t even care one bit…?
Welcome to EVE Online.
Funny thing in the movie. There is a guy that comes in an atron. Aggro’s both of us and warps off.
There were alot of killmail whores in the FFA.
Right now the focus is on the NEOII that starts this weekend.
The results for the Stay Frosty FFA or out.
You can find them at the EVEOGANDA website here
Top killers is very much deserved for Julia Ayu.
I’m featured fifth in the category Top Kills + Assists.
That just counts me out of any prices. But hey, I’m glad to be up there that high!
Keep an eye out on the forums for another Stay Frosty FFA.
I decided to look into a new favorite ship.
The Incursus seemed like a solid ship so I started working my way into fitting one up.
Alot of theorycrafting later my incursus was born.
A afterburner close range brawler with a resistence mod and an ancillary armor repper.
It played well with the bonusses that came with the ship.
I decided last minute to switch a 2nd resistance mod for a Damage Control
Because I would feel more comfortable dipping into structure every once and a while.
Not much later this became the reason why this post came to live.
First there was a Navy hookbill that died in a ball of fire.
The hookbill lacked the dps to actually hurt me.
Once I was in range, the hookbill couldn’t get out of scram range and died pretty fast.
Next up was a horribly fit thorax that deserved to die
The guy didn’t even got me half shield.
Since I was in that FW plex I decided to stay there.
Not much later an incursus appeared on close scan.
I decided to stay and go for it.
Much did I know this was going to be the closest 1vs1
I would have been in to date.
Check out the video I’ve made.
In the beginning it looked like I would be in for an easy kill.
But then the dual reppers got to work and I noticed I was a bit behind.
I started the ancillary repper, and got back to full armor.
Lost a cycle there because I focussed too much on heat damage rather than looking at the repper.
A derp happend during the fight, Since the previous fights didn’t really
Hurt me much I did not now I had auto-reload on the ancillary repper.
So I lost the ability to use a few extra slivers of armor.
I had to overload my guns again and hope they didn’t burn out.
I was on the losers side for a long time. But in stucture I could make the difference
Heat and the decision to fit a Damage Control saved my ass in this fight.
Who said hull tanking is a bad thing?
A dual armor rep incursus is a tough nut to crack.
But my incursus is up to the task. I’m quite happy with it.
Gf’s were shared in local. Shared a convo with the guy and he said it was one of the closest fights he had aswell.
It’s a name I’ll probably remember for a long time.
I encountered the guy twice in the Stay Frosty FFA aswell.
This time I was in a cheap fitted merlin.
Starting now alot of my time will be invested in training for the NEOII.
I’m looking forward to this.
Today at 1600 eve-time will start the Stay Frosty FFA!
I decided to fit up some ships and went for the breacher.
Hope I’ll have enough of them

So we got some great news.
Stay Frosty has been selected for the NEOII.
Guess who’s one of the team members. Yes, yours truly.
The following weeks will be alot of practice. Trial and error. But it will be a great time.
I will keep you guys up to speed how things are going.
The list of teams that got selected for the New Eden Open II can be found Here:
I wish everyone the best of luck.
Since Summer started I had a lot less time to play eve.
Stuff like going on vacation, doing things with the family messed up my playtime.
I had the occasional roam, but it seemed like everyone was kind of in the same state as I was.
So not much actually happened. And I kind of stayed in a shipspinning mode.
It was a good time to reflect on what I really felt like doing in New Eden.
So I went into Evemon and started looking into what were the possibilities, and how long certain ideas would take me.
Right now i’m a bit short of 28mil SP. It’s allready a decent amount, but it is still nowhere near the endless posibilities Eve can provide.
I came up with around 3 possible ways to evolve in this game that I would really enjoy doing.
All of them taking me close to a full year to get the necessary skills up to a very decent level.
So right now I’ll think about what I want to do first and try to fully commit myselve to it.
